What we offer
Babysitter
The role of a babysitter is to pick up spontaneous jobs. This could mean date nights/ days, weddings, family in town, etc. When hiring a babysitter it is important to know they are not on a routine schedule, instead they are on an as needed basis. With this being said, we can not ensure the same babysitter each time a family reaches out for our services. We will always try to keep the same person for both their best interest and the children. Their responsibilities include the safety and well-being of the child while they are in their care. This role is all childcare related.
Nanny
The role of a nanny is someone who will come into your home on a set schedule to provide regular childcare for an allotted time. This could be a part time position of 20-30 hours, or a full time position of 35-40+ hours a week. When a nanny is in your home their job is to ensure the safety and well-being of your child, along with childcare tasks. This role is all childcare related.
Family assistant
The role of a family assistant is to provide the family with an extra set of hands to help with the children and different duties around the house. This is a step up from a nanny, since it is not all childcare related. Different duties a family assistant will assist the family in can include meal prep, transporting children, organization, basic chores, and running errands. This role is a combination of childcare and household care.
household manager
The role of a household manager is to keep the house in order and running smoothly for the family. Since this job will vary from family to family, it will be catered to exactly what is needed for the family. It can include duties like managing other people hired by the family, over seeing projects within the home, coordinating travel, running errands for the family, etc. This role is not childcare related, instead it is all things inside the home.
rates
All rates are based upon the current market in Nashville, TN and vary depending on experience/ needs.
Babysitting
$20 an hour
2+ children add $1 an hour per child
Nanny
$25-$30+ an hour
Family Assistant
$25-$30+ an hour
Household Manager
$30-$35+ an hour
Any hours worked beyond 40 hours is paid overtime. This meaning they will be paid at 1.5x the normal rate.
